Outside of his professional pursuits, Roger is a devoted family man. He is married to Melissa Mabe, and the couple lives in Colorado where they enjoy spending time with their children, their three dogs and small circle of friends.

In his later life Roger has also found great success in Golf. He has won his local country club’s club championship as well as placing consistently in the championship year after year. He has aspirations to possibly compete in local tournaments in order to keep his skills sharp. More than anything, Roger appreciates the lessons Golf teaches in patience, humility, and social interactions.

In addition to his love for lacrosse, Raj Chivukula enjoys exploring the outdoors and taking advantage of Colorado’s beautiful landscapes. He is an outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, skiing, and other recreational activities that allow him to connect with nature.
